Vote on the name for Lindsay Wildlife Museum’s newest ambassador!

American Kestrel Lindsay Wildlife Museum is set to debut its newest animal ambassador, a male American kestrel, and the public has the opportunity to select the name through online voting August 1-15, 2014. The kestrel will be featured in public programming including school tours, classes, exhibit hall presentations and on-site birthday parties.

This kestrel was originally found near Clear Lake, CA with a wing injury that prevents proper flight. The bird was treated at The Bird Rescue Center in Santa Rosa before coming to Lindsay Wildlife Museum in March 2014.
